God Of The Possible!

I will continue with my earlier subject of  'splitting hairs' in my next writing.

The subject is changing because there is something that you may need to take hold of so far as trusting in God goes. This may not be the right wording at this time because I am in a pretty rotten state of mind at this time. One of those things called life that manages to smack you on occasion. Sometimes, you can get smacked real good!

I live in North Carolina where finding work is usually very easy. However, here in Greensboro, it has gotten very tough to find anything that pays good.  If you do find something decent, you will not get to many hours during the week.

That is my case right now. I am starting my own business but I still must work for someone else for now. Getting the bills paid on time can be a chore once in awhile. Sometimes, it seems as if even the easiest things are impossible to get done.

I have been trying very hard to let God do His thing for me, but at times, that seems like He's isn't hearing me or just doesn't care! The devil can work on you real good when you begin to lose some of that faith (trust). He is great with those mind games!

After I've gotten past the " what is wrong" phase, then I am reminded of a few things. One of them is

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."  (NIV)

Luke 18:27 Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God."   (NIV)

You and I have to remember that it is God and His son, Jesus Christ, who have must keep our faith (trust) in when things look like they are coming down all around you! It is your job, and mine, to go out and  fill out the applications or to email the resumes to the prospective employers! It is God's job to get us one of those jobs or maybe a different one. With Jesus as our mediator, How can we lose?

   Let go and let GOD!!

   1 Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.  (NIV)

    Philippians 4:12,13

12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (KJV)
